Most Clubhouse programs start small, developing their scope and size over time. Thus, we plan to initially open the Seattle Clubhouse by offering limited services (9am - 2 pm) in a temporary location, at Operation Nightwatch, (302 14th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144) a shelter triage center that is only used in the evenings from 5-11pm. During that period, we will continue preparations to launch a full-service Clubhouse by May of 2018. At that time, the Clubhouse will operate a work-ordered program Tuesday and Thursday, 9am - 2pm, serve lunch (prepared by members), arrange social activities on one weekend day and one evening, offer transitional and supportive employment opportunities, provide supported education, and incorporate most other components of a Clubhouse working toward meeting International Standards.
